Overview

The Starter Application provides a base for developing a new ADF applications.

The application highlights a few key fundamentals and features for building ADF apps. Use this application to learn about ADF apps and how to build/customize apps for your requirements.

Follow the steps below to download, install, and run the starter app.

Download

Download the code from The Commons Starter App Project.

Extract the zip files into the following directory: /ADF/apps/starter_app/

Configuration

  • Make sure the ADF is setup and running on the site. If the ADF is not setup, then follow the instructions for ADF Site Level ADF Component.
  • Open the sites 'ADF.cfc' file in a text editor. Locate the Load the ADF Application into application space commentin the file. Add (or uncomment) the following command under the comment section:
