PT Calendar Version 4.9 Release Notes

We are proud to release v4.9 of the PT Calendar App to the Community.

IMPORTANT: v4.9 of this application requires ADF 2.7.1 or greater and CommonSpot 11.0.0, 10.9.1 or 10.8.3 or greater.

If installing the PT Calendar app for the first time, please follow the PT Calendar v4.9 Install Guide.

If upgrading from version 4.8 or later, please complete the v3.0 - v4.8 Upgrade Guides in order. Find the PT Calendar Upgrade Guides here.

Note: PT Calendar v4.9 does not have a direct upgrade path from the v2.x or earlier Calendar App. Please see the PT Calendar v3.0 Upgrade Guide for more information.

Enhancements

• Improved calendar cache building for sites with a large number of event entries.
• Added missing Calendar Cache parameters in Calendar Admin functions.
• Enhanced Calendar FarDates handling to properly remove navigation links for far future and past dates.
• Implemented site-level overrides for both calendar.css and calendaradmin.css.

Bug Fixes

• Updated the Calendar Far Date logic to trigger a 301 redirect back to the last max/min date when attempting to view dates beyond the max/min far date.
• Set default values for the farDates struct when the calendar cache doesn't exist yet.
