PT Calendar Version 4.0 Release Notes

We are proud to release v4.0 to the Community.

Version 4.0 is compatible with the ADF 2.0 or greater and CommonSpot 10 or greater.

If installing the PT Calendar app for the first time, please follow the PT Calendar v4.0 Install Guide.

Note: PT Calendar v4.0 does not have a direct upgrade path from the v2.x or earlier Calendar App. Please see the PT Calendar v3.0 Upgrade Guide for more information.

Enhancements

• Updated to load JS and CSS using CommonSpot 10's new Resource Loader via ADF.scripts_2_0.
• Updated to use ADF.forms_2_0 new "Resource Loader" enabled formResultCallback hook.
• Converted the .cfm renderer Custom Field Types to use the new CommonSpot 10 .cfc render files.
• Added a config setting to remove the end time requirements on events.
• Added a setting to the Calendar Cache Controller to allow limits to be put to how many events can be cached in the future and the past.
• Updates to render handlers to help CommonSpot to know to rebuild the Calendar View Pages and not cache them.
• Converted the CS URL fields and link to use CS Ext URL format.
• Removed the obsolete ‘force scripts’ UI from Calendar Custom Field Types.
• Updated Render Handlers to use the new CommonSpot 10 resource detection.
• Exported all of the updated Custom Element .zip archive files for CommonSpot 10.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the insufficient minimum height for current popup calendar.
• Fixed issue with renderLabelWrapper when renderField doesn't exist in params.
• Fixed issue with the timepicker plugin by providing a default time format which did work correctly if it was blank.
