Overview

The Date Subsite feature will allow the blog administrator to determine if the blog posts will have date subsites and the date format mask. If this feature is enabled, the blog post pages will be created within a subsite where the subsite name is based on a date format mask (i.e. "YYYY" or "YYYY/MM").

Steps

  1. Verify that the "ptBlog2 Configuration" custom element has been updated to contain the "Enable Date Subsite" and "Date Subsite Format" field. If not updated, then follow the v2.1 upgrade guide to upgrade the custom elements.
  2. Navigate to the "Blogs Manager" page and select the "Edit App Configuration" to open the configuration custom element form. On the "Features" tab, set the "Enable Date Subsite" field to "True" and set the "Date Subsite Format" mask field.
  3. On the "Blogs Manager" page, select the link for "Reset Site ADF" to have the updates take effect.
