Overview

The Photo Gallery Application is built within the ADF. The ADF must be configured for the site to install the Photo Gallery within the site.

Further details can be found at the Site Configuration wiki page.

Steps

  • Locate the following two files in the 'ADF/core/site-samples' directory.
    • custom-application.cfm
    • ADF.cfc
  • Copy the 'custom-application.cfm' file into the root of your site. If your site already has a custom-application.cfm file, then open this new file and copy-paste the contents into your existing file.

NOTE: If you are installing the custom-application file on your site for the first time, you need to restart ColdFusion.

  • Copy the 'ADF.cfc' file into the '_cs_apps' directory of your site.
  • Open the 'ADF.cfc' file for your site in a text editor. Locate the 'Load the ADF Application into application space' comment in the file. Add (or uncomment) the following command under the comment section:
 loadApp("ptPhotoGallery");
  • Reset the ADF for the server and site. Add the following URL parameter to any page within the site. (If the site is completely new, you may have to create an index.cfm page first.)
 ?ResetServerADF=1&ResetSiteADF=1
